                     buss   apni-apni   nazar  ki   baat  hai!
                     varna  masla-e-mulk to ghar  ki baat hai!

                     fikr sabza-e-byaa-baa.n ki kyon ho mujhe!
                     mere   aangan  ke   shajar  ki  baat hai!

                     khat   nahin   aaya  per  acha  hai, woh!
                     udhti- udhti  hui  khabar  ki  baat  hai!

                     maashuqa   ne    use   marne   na   diya!
                     zahr     ke    asar     ki    baat   hai!

                     andhere  ne  tajalliyo.n ko rok liya aaj!
                     ujaalo.n ke  liye ab  dar  ki  baat  hai!
  
                     shamsher  bhi  her kisi pe nahin chalti!
