                               jaate - jaate   ek  kami  chhor   gayaa!
                               aankho.n me.n  kuch  nami   chhor gayaa!

                               rahaa  taa'lluk  kis  mazhab  se  uskaa!
                               nigaaho.n me.n ghalat-fahmi chhor gayaa!

                               tarste  hain  lamho.n   ko   aaj   loag!
                               wo   apne   peechhe  sadi  chhor  gayaa!

                               baazaar-e-husn  me.n   daulat  ke  paas!
                               mohabbat  ki   be-khudi   chhor   gayaa!

                               khushq  sehraa   ko  pyaasaa  jaan  kar!
                               bhhatak  ti   hui   nadi  chhor   gayaa!

                               jee  utthe   zindagi  phir  se  MARHOOM!
