aaj tut kar fir tari yaad aayi hai,
                           dur huye they jab woh gum e judai yaad hai hai,

rote rote aansu tak sukh gaye hamare,
                            khuda tune kiyon hamari zindagi katto bhari banai hai,

jider bhi jate hai sirf dhokar hi milti hai,
                           hamara na hi koi dost na hi koi jivan sathi banai hai,

khuda bhi shayad nafrat karta tha hamse,
                            isliye hamari zindagi mout se bhi bhatar banai hai,

pagal ho jate hai ishq karne wale,
                             khuda ne unki saajja pathro ki maar se banai hai,

kasoor uska nahi,
               is mohhobut ka hai,

woh to mari pari[angel]hai,
                  pariya itni berahem nhi hoti,
                isliye mane apni har dua may apne liye dard e tanhai likhwai hai,

aaj tut kar fir tari yaad aayi hai,
                           dur huye they jab woh gum e judai yaad hai hai
