Be-panha rangon se sajhi zindagi ek rangeen ehsaas hai,
Koi milon dhoor toh koi dhadkanon se zyada dil kay paas hai..

Nafraton ki mehfil main sailab-e-mohobat aya jab kisi ne pucha,
Jisne kiye itne sitam tujh par woh aj bhi kyun itna khaas hai..

Rooh main se jab nikal jati hai roshni, tab hi mar jata hai insaan,
Aise kayi hai yahan jo mar kar ab bhi le rahe saans hai..

Kisi ko kuch kehna ho, kuch karna ho toh aj hi karle musafir,
Kal tak rakhne walon main hota sirf pachtave ka ehsaas hai..

Daur-e-tanhai main kuch iss qadar muskura lete ho ‘Khamosh’,
Uss Khuda par samaj nahin ata, tera yeh kaisa vishwaas hai..

Tu aj bhale mujhe bhool gaya hai mager meri aadat aisi nahin hai,
Jab bhi tujhe ek kandhe ki zarurat ho sar rakh rone kay liye,
Toh yaad rakhna, ‘Khamosh’ tere paas hai..bahaut paas hai..
