pyaari maa
seedhi-saadi maa
maa
pyaari maa
bholi-bhaali maa


dil ki gali me ek sthaan hamesha pukaarta rahta hai
gham ki ghata me bhi saaya khushi ka tumhaara rahta hai


auron ko manaata hun aur maa se hi rooth jaata hun
lekin maa ka rukh to hamesha manane ka rahta hai


in aakhon par aasun kabhi bhi aa nahi paate hain
zikr maa ka ho jaaye to lamha lamha bheega rahta hai


jaanta hun jiwan me safaltaayen kyun hai mil rahi
mere saath maa ki duaon ka saaya sa rahta hai


daulat nahi shohrat nahi insaaniyat par chalna hai
tune sikhaaya hai maa dil yahi kahta rahta hai


kaise bhool jaaun bachpan ke wo din jo abtak beete nahi
maa ke khyaal se ab bhi dil me koi bachha rahta hai


ghamzada ho uthta hun maa ko zara bhi dukhi karke
par maa ke dil me to bachhe ka hansta chehra rahta hai
