                            darmiyaan saghar-o-meena ke jab se thhanee rahee.
                            haalat -e-saaqee, khashmakash   mein banee rahee.


                            dushvaariyaa.N  kaee  zer-e-nazar  theein  lakin.
                            nigaah   busss   teree  adaa   pe  jamee   rahee.


                            unn toh chaahne  waalo.N ka relaa sa rahaa ghar tak.
                            mere  dil-o-jigar  ko buss  ek teree kamee rahee.


                            kah  gaye  daanishwar, sehre  ko  khushq  hai ye.
                            dekhaa na ghaur se  kabhee jo isme namee rahee.


                            hai  milaavat  zindagee  mein  phir  rona  kaisa.
                            khaa  kar ghazaa qalb phir kyon bud-hazmee rahee.
