                                milte - milte  bichhad  gaye !
                                halaat   jo    bigad    gaye!!

                                khauf maamlaat se  nahin thaa!
                                rishto.n   se   sihar    gaye!

                                aakh  ajnabi  lagi  shahr  ki!
                                nikal   kar    jidhar    gaye!

                                hawaa  mein khanjar-o-talwaar!
                                dekh   kar    thhithar   gaye!

                                goyaa    koi   apnaa    nahin!
                                akele -  tanhaa   padd   gaye!

                                ek   hi   bachaa   paas  apne!
                                baaqi   saare    sifar   gaye!

                                huaa muskuranaa muhaal hamaraa!
                                daant   saare   jhhad     gaye!

                                ladaai  zameen  ki wahi.n rahi!
                                saare  zameen  mein  gadd gaye!

                                marhoom  qisse   tazaa  nikaal!
