                        tanhaa  main  tanhaa tuu aur kyaa!
                        hui  mohabbat  be-qaboo  aur kyaa!

                        khili  meri baghiya ek kali nanhi!
                        phaili khusboo chaar-soo aur kyaa!

                        boondein aansuo.n  ki kyaa kahein!
                        nikle  gareeb ki  aarzoo aur kyaa!

                        bahaar iss shahr ki toofaa.n jaisi!
                        hai   dushmani  ki  boo  aur  kyaa!

                        qadam bekhudi mein saath tere chalein!
                        meraa nashaa teri adaa ku-b-ku aur kyaa!
                  
                        baat shanasaai tak hi mahdood nahin!
                        hai MARHOOM ko teri joostjoo aur kyaa!
