Gul ko khilen ki hasrat, Mujhko jeene ki hasrat

Teri ulfat mein kuchh na mila, sirf badnam hue,
Raz-e-dil chhupane ki koshish mein nakaam hue.
Abhi kuchh door hi chale the rah-e- mohabat mein,
Taza mere dil ke zakam jab tamam hue.
