Mujhko neend suhaani aayi hoti ,
Maa ka aanchal jo mujhe mayassar hota....

Khuda ne mujhe ek kitaab banaya hota ,
Padhne k liye sirf tumhe banaya hota...
Tum padhte huye so jaate ,
Is bahane mujhe galese lagaya hota...

Us ne uljha diya duniya me mujhe ,
warna main bhi koi sikandar hota...

Mil jaate jo tum umr bhar k liye ,
Socho to main kitna khusnaseeb hota...

Bhool jaata main tumhe hamesha ko ,
Kaash main tum jaisa ek patthar-dil hota...
