                         ab kya din kya raat kee baat karein.
                         aaye ho jab se sab teree baat karein.

                         huaa husn teraa sabab khauf-e-kufr ka.
                         zaahid bhee aaj-kal teree baat karein.

                         hai maiqade mein tere suroor kee khabar.
                         rind sungg jaam bhee teree baat karein.

                         teree aamaad se gulshan bhee khill utha.
                         manzar aur bahaar bhee teree baat karein.

                         jhalak tere didaar kee hai nazro.n ko mere.
                         nigaahein aapas mein teree baat karein.

                         huaa ekhtalaaf aaj ghazlo.n mein qalb.
                         hain afzal wahee jo teree baat karein.
