zindagi yun to guzarti hai magar;
bas main ho mere, ye zaroori to nahin

khamoshi yun to bolti hai magar;
wo samajh lein ise, ye zaroori to nahin

jise dhoondti hai har mod pe nazar;
wo mil jaaye mujhe, ye zaroori to nahin

khwaishein to bahut hain magar;
muqammal hon, ye zaroori to nahin

kami nahin meri parastish mein magar;
dua qubool hogi, ye zaroori to nahin
