Sonchta hoon iis duniya se naata tod lun
Ban chuke jo geir, oon apno se muh mod lun
ek hum hi kya reh gaye dushmani nibhane ke liye
dil todne waalo ko apni judaii ka sabab to de dunn
   Chhalni huey dil se hamesha aah nikalti hai
   khamosh zubaan sirf siskari hi bharti hai
   sonchta hoon apne dard ko shor mein badal dunn
   dil todne waalo ko apni judaii ka sabab de dunn
koi ek bhi mila nahi, jise apna keh sakun
Ragon mein feila hua dard usko dikha sakun
kisi anchal ke saaye mein kuch pal thahar kar
apni bechaini ko kuch raahat ke lamhe de sakun
