                            meri khushi mere ghamm ka ehsaas tum hi ho..,
                            tanhaai  mein  bhi   aas-paas  tum  hi  ho..,

                            karta hoga zamaana istaqbaal ameeron ka,
                            her zamaane dil ke khaasm-khaas tum hi ho,

                            rahta hai khushq baarish mein wajood apna,
                            mere dhadakte dil ki pyaas tum hi ho,
                         
                            tere bichadne se jeene ki rawaani jaaye,
                            meri khushi ki her aas tum hi ho,

                            unn to aarzi niqaab mein lipta hai jism apna,
                            meri jaan-o-izzat ka libaas tum hi ho,

                            khawbo-khyaal se pare hai aaj sheba..!
                            mere her lamhe ka qayaas tum hi ho.
