                                       SHAAM-E-TANHAI
Ek shaam e tanhai thi ,
Phir teri yaad ayi thi,
Ashko ki reh guzar thi,
Beenai jaa rahi thi.

Dil hua mushtaq-e-deed,
Yaad aya wo manzar-e-eid,
Khushi ka mujhse koi talluk nahi ,
Gham thi  bani meri parchhayi.

Sajdon mein dil roya bohut ,
Duaon wo yaad aya bohut,
Umeed hai wo ayega “sahal” ek din.
Pheli hui hai har taraf khudai.
