Thee ous kay saath her baat per, baat koi achee na thee,
Souchta houn ous ko daekhnay kay aadet, achee na thee

Ab kay routhay tou ousay menayeh ga kaun?
Her baar ousay menanay key aadet, achee na thee

Kabhi aankh bheree daekh, dil ous ka bhee bher aata,
Her zakm pay apni muskeranay key aadet, achee na thee

Yaar tou yaar, dil apna bhee ab saath choray jaey hay,
Baar Baar iesay jelanay key aadet, achee na thee

Zindagi main azmaishain theen ya zindagi howee thee azmaish numa?
Ous key her baar aazmanay key aadet, achee na thee

Intezaar, deeda-o-dil ferseh rah aur hesaas pen Khaki,
Koi bhee tou ies dewanay key aadet, achee na thee.
