Ham dost hain, to, dosty kaa naam kyon na ho ?
Jaane na zamaanah hamain, kyaa yah rahegaa theek ?
Gairat nahin, to, fir bhalaa badnaam kyon na hon ?
Chhup kar nigaah-e-arsh se ham peet rahe leek !

हम दोस्त हैं, तो, दोस्ती का नाम क्यों न हो ?
जाने न ज़माना हमें, क्या यह रहेगा ठीक ?
ग़ैरत नहीं, तो, फिर भला बदनाम क्यों न हों ?
छुप कर निगाहे अर्श से, हम पीट रहे लीक !
