mere dil se kabhee wo gaya bhee nahee
apana ghar use par pataa bhee nahee   
mujh ko choda nahee us ne ik pal kabhee
par ek pal ko mera huyaa bhee nahee   
dard-e-ulfat meri jaan legaa kabhee
par ab vo meri  dawaa bhee nahee   
kuch bhee nahee main us ke liyee
mujh se khush bhee nahee wo khafa bhee nahee   
mere ham kadam hai sayaa sa koyee
jis ko mangaa tha sanhg wo chala bhee nahee
mujh ko gairon ke sang bhee jo dekha kabhee
hans bhee diyaa aur jala bhee nahee
wo kuch bhee kare us ko kosoon nahee
is kadar achaa hona bhalaa bhee nahee
