Agar merre paas ek aesi kalam hoti jisse main apna nasib likh sakti,
tou main apne nasib mein tumhara naam likh deti,

jo aksar tumhe mujhse shiqayat rehti thi main tumhe yad nhi karti,
din k har guzarte lamhe mein tumhe dhero paigham likh deti,

tum tou rukh mod kar chal diye dusri taraf,
warna khushnuma sa main apni mhbt ka anjam likh deti,

ek khubsurat subah jo tumhari mhbt se shuru hoti,
aur phir kabhi na dhalti aesi shaam likh deti,

apne dil ki kitab pe tou tumhara naam likha maine,
use zamane mein bhi sar-e-aam likh deti,

kaas merre paas ek aesi kalam hoti..
tou main apne nasib mein tumhara naam likh deti.........
